Mortgage Rates

Hey, everyone. It’s Ken at the Capitol Mortgage Group. Uh, today’s January 10, 2022. So last week, we did see mortgage rates creep up a little bit more than expected. Why is that? Well, due to more concerns over inflation, as well as after the Fed meeting where they indicated they’re thinking of three potential rate hikes in 2022. So, when we say rates are going up, in mortgage bankers speak [00:00:22], we’re talking fractions of a percent, an eighth of a percent or so. So while we’re off the loads of the summer, we’re still in that all-time low territory. Of course, if you want to see live mortgage rates, just go to capitolmortgagegroup.com, where you can see live mortgage rates and you can start the process for a better way to a home loan.
